Issued by the Easwegian Dawn Liberation Movement following confirmation by its Common Assembly


Preamble


Directive II of the Easwegian Council shall affirm the primacy of the use of directives as policy within the Easwegian Council, which was made president by the previous Directive I. 
Previously, as with the act on the re-establishment of the Emando forces, the use of the term directives was not used. The Custodian felt that this was less personal and less memorable and iconic to the Easwegian lay person. Inspired by the most recent encyclical from Pope Leo XIV on Artifical Intelligence which received global and instantly identifiable positive reactions due to his incomparable authority, the Custodian has since been inspired to replicate the timelessness of this format in a secular manner. This is not to imply any authoritative comparison between the secular Easwegian Dawn and that of the Pope, but to give a transparent explanation for this trend which will continue. In fact, directives hold tradition through the Common Realm, where they were used to identify laws passed by the National Directorate, one of Easway's most fondly remembered institutions. Directives shall preferrably be released on a Sunday.
This Directive shall also define the brush-up campaign, building on previous attempts to brush-up on Easwegian culture and tradition, in order to inform the Liberation Movement and build upon the legacy of the Common Realm. To help aid in the brush-up of Easwegian culture, institutions shall be established which shall serve as primary sources of information within online document and education of the nation.

Article I - Defining the Brush-up Campaign

1.1) As the Brush-off Campaign of 2023, as touched upon in the previous directive, aimed to expel elements which sought to undermine and destroy the cohesion of the Easwegian nation, the following Brush-up campaign of 2026 shall focus on increasing the cohesion and unity of the Easwegian people and our culture.

1.2) The Brush-up campaign shall first and foremost be a people-led effort to archive the traditions and legacy of the former Common Realm of Easway (2017-2025), highlighting both the best and brightest of that era, but also the overall history and development of its structures, culture, and people throughout the year.

1.3) Examples of things the Brush-up Campaign as authorised through this Directive shall include:

  • the documentation of notable figures and their achievements;

  • The compilation of a timeline of pivotal acts passed by the Common Assembly and its government; 

  • The recording of events that marked the nation's journey;

  • The celebration of both national projects and personal initiatives that embody Easwegian spirit.

1.4) The Campaign shall also seek to further define the Easwegian nation, our common purpose, and the things which bring us together and what we have built which makes us unique, identifiable and immortal.


Article II - Establishment of the Common Assembly Library


2.1) The Common Assembly Library shall be established as the primary archive of acts and duties related to the Easwegian Common Assembly.

2.2) The library shall be accessible to all people and shall be used as a primary source for researchers, tutors, and students seeking to understand the foundations of Easwegian governance.

Article III - Implementation

3.1 The Custodian of Easwegian Dawn shall be responsible for the oversight of the Brush-up Campaign and the establishment of the Common Assembly Library.

3.2 The First Secretary of Easwegian Dawn shall coordinate the collection, organisation, and preservation of materials in the Library. Recommended additions shall be submitted to the Secretariat office.

3.3 All citizens are encouraged to contribute to the Brush-up Campaign by submitting records, memories, and cultural artefacts to the Common Assembly Library.

Article IV – Final Provision

This Directive shall take effect immediately upon passage by the Easwegian Council. It shall remain in force until amended or repealed by a subsequent directive.

Supreme Court of Justice Revokes the Easwegian Citzenship of Etchaczech Authored on 1 June 2024 The Supreme Court of Justice of Easway has worked closely with the Common Security Force to ascertain the facts of now released convict Etchaczech when attaining citizenship in early 2021 through the provisions outlined within Chapter 1, Section 5 of the Constitution.
