Issued by the Easwegian Dawn Liberation Movement following confirmation by its Common Assembly
Preamble
Directive II of the Easwegian Council shall affirm the primacy of the use of directives as policy within the Easwegian Council, which was made president by the previous Directive I.
This Directive shall also define the brush-up campaign, building on previous attempts to brush-up on Easwegian culture and tradition, in order to inform the Liberation Movement and build upon the legacy of the Common Realm. To help aid in the brush-up of Easwegian culture, institutions shall be established which shall serve as primary sources of information within online document and education of the nation.
Article I - Defining the Brush-up Campaign
1.1) As the Brush-off Campaign of 2023, as touched upon in the previous directive, aimed to expel elements which sought to undermine and destroy the cohesion of the Easwegian nation, the following Brush-up campaign of 2026 shall focus on increasing the cohesion and unity of the Easwegian people and our culture.
1.2) The Brush-up campaign shall first and foremost be a people-led effort to archive the traditions and legacy of the former Common Realm of Easway (2017-2025), highlighting both the best and brightest of that era, but also the overall history and development of its structures, culture, and people throughout the year.
1.3) Examples of things the Brush-up Campaign as authorised through this Directive shall include:
- the documentation of notable figures and their achievements;
The compilation of a timeline of pivotal acts passed by the Common Assembly and its government;
The recording of events that marked the nation's journey;
The celebration of both national projects and personal initiatives that embody Easwegian spirit.
1.4) The Campaign shall also seek to further define the Easwegian nation, our common purpose, and the things which bring us together and what we have built which makes us unique, identifiable and immortal.
Article II - Establishment of the Common Assembly Library
2.1) The Common Assembly Library shall be established as the primary archive of acts and duties related to the Easwegian Common Assembly.
Article III - Implementation
3.1 The Custodian of Easwegian Dawn shall be responsible for the oversight of the Brush-up Campaign and the establishment of the Common Assembly Library.
3.2 The First Secretary of Easwegian Dawn shall coordinate the collection, organisation, and preservation of materials in the Library. Recommended additions shall be submitted to the Secretariat office.
3.3 All citizens are encouraged to contribute to the Brush-up Campaign by submitting records, memories, and cultural artefacts to the Common Assembly Library.
Article IV – Final Provision
This Directive shall take effect immediately upon passage by the Easwegian Council. It shall remain in force until amended or repealed by a subsequent directive.
