You have been betrayed by leadership which offered you the world but absconded at your time of need. This betrayal was the final nail in the coffin of a corpse which has been cold for quite some time now.  Of course we can remember the Dawnbreaker coup attempt last month, but this was not what crumbled the unity of Easway. The decisions of the late Zerrindou were the actions of a man that saw the corruption and lack of proper work being conducted in the highest levels of office and attempted to take drastic measures to steer the ship to safe harbour. This is now the past, and I will focus on the present, largely because I want to respect Zerrindou who is now sadly gone from us.  SYRI MOGHAMADAN MEIZCHERNI VI EZERRYE VERSUS THE EASWEGIAN COMMON UNION Published by Csyeigo Irmaarnoujeo, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Justice of Easway, on 10 May 2025 The Supreme Court met today to discuss the events of the state of national emergency and following actions undertaken by the Easwegian Common Union, led by His Eminence Grand Councillor Aleksounder Zerrindou, and rule on the legality of the aformentioned Eminence's actions. This court met after a complaint was filed by Assembly President Emiliusta Meizcherni-Zerri, representing Syri Moghamadan Meizcherni vi Ezerrye, who at the point of this court meeting has been detained for the last roughly four hours, since 12:31 pm on 10 May 2025. This detention was announced publicly by Zerrindou on his authority as Grand Councillor, in line with Article III of the National Integrity Act (2024).  Everything Easwegian Overview Easwegians are the people of the Common Union of Easway, a nation which declared independence in 2017. Easwegians traditionally inhabit the Barents Region of Northern Europe and Svalbard, although since 1821 there has been a large diaspora, such as in Great Britain. Easwegians are a polyethnic people, traditionally consisting of Ezaari, Norwegians and Pomors, with a minority of Saami and Nenets. The official national languages of Easwegian include Ezerryen, Norwegian, Pomors Russian and English as a lingua franca. Saami and Nenets are recognised minority languages.  Titles and their roles in propaganda Brief thoughts from Emizerri Tannurai Titles and institutional names serve as the first line of propaganda within the government. Terms such as Grand Councillor, General Director, Assembly President, National Directorate and Common Assembly, among others, serve as the first means for an individual to understand the role of a government role or body. These are very important, because it serves as a form of engagement for someone who may otherwise be non-political. These titles and names were carefully selected, with many of them chosen by myself, Emizerri. Names changes, such as the Realm of Easway into the Common Union of Easway represent ideological agendas. Realm was seen as too monarchical and even medieval by some, so we carefully decided for it to be Common Union.
