Election results: the 10th Assembly Government - Easway has a new leader



The 10th Assembly Government has formed today following elections this month. Grand Councillor Suqeruli Bai is expected to make a speech to the Union. 

The National Directorate was also elected with Metallityöt to lead it as General Director, and Swapardeshi becomes the first female President of the United Common Assembly.

Emizerri has been elected to serve as Grand Marshal.


Suqeruli Bai - The second-ever Grand Councillor-elect



Suqeruli Bai, commonly going by Squ Bai, an independent, won the election on Saturday 11th with  140 (70%) of the vote, comfortably defeating Don Cho.

Squ Bai began his career as a member of the Provisional Government in 2018. From there, he took part in the ratification of the 2020 Directorial Federation Constitution. He took over as health director in April 2020 following a dead-lock in Easwegian COVID policy. After the incorporation of Hopen into Easway in May 2020, Squ Bai was elected in an in-council vote to serve as the 1st Marquis of Hopen, later Maritime Hopen. He was elected in the background of the outlawing of political parties and emergency measures in effect between June to November 2020. Alongside allies such as Ankel and Metalli, Emizerri agreed to hold a public referendum which amended the constitution to reestablish the legality of political parties and allow for public referendums in the future.

He has spent his time in office promoting secular politics, progressive politics and national defense. Serving in health ministries, Squ established new healthcare measures and institutions. He made his bid for the Grand Councillor official in September and won comfortably.

President 

As discussed, Swapardeshi was elected with 7 yes voted and 5 abstentions to become the 4th President of the Assembly (3 people in total) and the first-ever female legislative head. She stands in the seat of the Lake Valley & Waterfork, Boriopa City Council.

Imperative Council

The 6th Imperative Council is the permanent standing committee of the United Common Assembly and acts as collective head of state and administers federal commissions, with presidium oversight. It contains the head of the Common Union and the heads of the commonwealth and municipal councils.

The 10th National Directorate: Who are its members?

The United Common Assembly elected just-gone president Metallityöt of the Easway First party as its General Director. He was also elected as federal director of business and labour. Metallityöt stands on a platform of industry-building and increased funding for the Easwegian National Guard, as well as focus on the civic culture of the Easwegian nation. As General Director, Metallityöt shall also head foreign affairs.

The island within the west of Turkey, known as Qaiversou in Ezerryen, was a place of trade and settlement within the far-western reach of the Easwegian Continuum in the early first millenium. These Easwegian clans made allegiances with the then Roman Empire, and those who stayed integrated with the neighbouring Greeks, Bulgarians and Turks. Today, there exists a significant diaspora here. Supreme Court of Justice Revokes the Easwegian Citzenship of Etchaczech Authored on 1 June 2024 The Supreme Court of Justice of Easway has worked closely with the Common Security Force to ascertain the facts of now released convict Etchaczech when attaining citizenship in early 2021 through the provisions outlined within Chapter 1, Section 5 of the Constitution. What is today understood is that Etchaczech obtained Easwegian citizenship under false pretenses, including the falsification of background and giving a false date of birth. Due to these findings, myself as Chief Justice and the Supreme Court have no other options than to declare Etchaczech's Easwegian citizenship invalid and revoke said citizenship, effective immediately.
