Document approved for release by Her Grace Assembly President Swapardeshi

On 9 April 2024, I called for an audience of the 10th United Common Assembly, its Government of which I, Grand Councillor Suqeruli Bai have the pleasure to serve. Since taking office last November, succeeding our great Paramount Founder and Eminence Emizerri, it has been my priority mission to both uphold the values of our great Easwegian state and also expand the will of our Common Union to all those displaced in our historical territory.
As we make strides towards this goal, of which I have overwhelming backing by both you, the public, the Directors I serve with and the Assembly, I believe that it is right for our national conscience to celebrate this with a new State Ensign to represent our expanding and returning polity.
That is why, with recommendations by Gaia, Minister of Home Affairs, I have commissioned the creation of a new State Ensign proposal. I am happy to say that this State Ensign has the full support of His Eminence Grand Marshal Emizerri, who drafted the design, and founder Csyeigo, who perfected its dimensions.
Do not be alarmed! The traditional Ouroboros' banner, that is with His Majesty centred and the pillars standing firm at each end, shall be transformed into the Civil Ensign. It is my mission to continue the fervour of our grand renaissance whilst respecting the heritage which built this country.

Without further ado, I present to you the proposed State Ensign:
  1. The Ouroboros' Banner is the symbol of the Easwegian nation in its entirety. The Ouroboros represents Easwegians and our resolve to strive and exist in perpetuity, no matter the cost. Its exterior is shaded black, representing justice and the resilience to absorb anything that comes its way whilst maintaining form, protecting us from whatever foes we may face. It entirely surrounds the extensive and multi-faceted Easwegian soul in white.
  2. The Easwegian Red stands for our people's boldness and sacrifice. The white eye of the Ouroboros stands for the diplomatic nature of the Easwegian. The Chevron pillar is angled to represent the second Easwegian state, a continuation of the medieval Commonwealth. Its swallowtail is in homage to the State Ensign of Denmark, our close historical allies. The three colours of the pillar, white, black white, represents the traditional three seas of Easway: the Barents Sea, the White Sea and the Pechora Sea

Civil Ensign of Easway

The 2018 Ouroboros' Banner shall be applied as the official Civil Ensign of Easwegians.

A vote shall be held to launch an Addendum to the Constitution within the coming weeks. This shall be confirmed by a referendum delivered to the people.
Easway forever!

- Your Eminence Suqeruli Bai, Grand Councillor of the Easwegian Common Union
