Ampersand - The use of ampersands is fine in images, but use the full official name in text.

Capitalisation for government departments - Use the following convention for government departments and their officeholder:

  • Grand Office
  • General Directorate
  • 'United Presidium Authority' or 'Presidium'
  • 'Ministry Directorate of Finance and Economic Affairs' or 'Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs'
  • 'Ministry Directorate of Home Affairs' or 'Ministry of Home Affairs'
  • Central Directorate of Agriculture and Environment
  • Central Directorate of Education and Culture
  • Central Directorate of Business and Labour
  • Central Directorate of Healthcare and Scientific Development
  • Central Directorate of Housing, Community and Recreation
  • Central Directorate of Public Works and Infrastructure
CMD - Acronym for Central Ministry Directorate

Common Union - always refer to the identifier of the Easwegian state by both words, never refer to it as simply 'Union.' If referring to its form of government, call it 'the federation' (note non-capitalised)

Co-operative Government - Cooperative Government in images is fine, but write Co-operative Government in full text.

Council - not 'council' unless plural, then it is 'councils'

Diaspora - Use to refer to people in Easway of international origin, or Easwegians abroad. For example: Easway's Indian diaspora, Easway's German diaspora, the Easwegian diaspora in Turkey. Never refer to Diaspora as foreigners.

EC - Acronym for Easwegian Common.
ECD - Acronym for Easwegian Central Directorate, government departments of the National Directorate 
ECLC - Acronym for Easwegian Common Liberation Council, the ministry of defence

Moscow - Use 'Moscow' or 'Moscow state' when referring to our southern neighbour. When referring to its people or culture, use the term 'Citizens of Moscow'
DO NOT refer to people of Biarmia as Citizens of Moscow. Instead, refer to them as 'Displaced Easwegians' unless they are employed by the Moscow state, at which point refer to them as 'Moscow officials in the Displaced Territory.' or 'Moscow officials' for short.

nation - not 'Nation'

P

people - not 'People'
polyethnic - (notice not poly-ethnic) not 'multi-ethnic' and not 'multi-cultural'
prefect - not 'Prefect' such as, even when 'the prefect', unless it is the full name such as 'Prefect of Urdport's Steinflya'
prefecture - not 'Prefecture' unless in the full name, such as 'Prefecture of Grand Liyvazun'
