The Easwegian Common Fund

Article One: Purpose

This priority legislation shall rename the Common Union Treasury to the Easwegian Common Fund (ECF) and shall strictly define its scope as the financial organisation at the federal level of the Co-operative Government of Easway.

Article Two: Jurisdiction

The Easwegian Common Fund, as before, shall be placed under the oversight of the Directorate of Economic Affairs (currently known as the Directorate of Agriculture, Labour and Economic Affairs), which shall be chaired by its named director. Its budget shall be set by the Common Assembly on advice of the aforementioned directorate and the heads of Easwegian Dawn.

The ECF shall be overseen by a council of four, including the aforementioned director, the Grand Councillor, the General Director, and the Assembly President. Emergency funds and general administration of funds shall be agreed upon by said council.

Article Three: Scope

The Easwegian Common Fund shall be used to fund federal bodies of the Co-operative Government, such as the National Directorate and its departments, Easwegian Dawn, the Easwegian Common Assembly and federal initiatives, including work surrounding the Displaced Biarmian Territory. 

The Easwegian Common Fund shall fund governance of the entire public sector of the Easwegian Svalbard Isles and the salaries of its public employees. Public infrastructure and public housing projects shall draw upon finance of the Easwegian Common Fund.
