Easwegian profile - Emizerri

Emiliusta Meizcherni-Zerri, more commonly known to the public as Emizerri or officially Emizerri Tannurai, is the paramount founder of Easway and a central figure within the nation. He has served many roles, most notably serving as chief of state as Grand Councillor from Easway's founding in 2017 until stepping down to make way for other figures in 2023. Currently, he has served since 2024 as President of the Common Assembly, an office he previously held from 2015 to 2023.

Emizerri is a committed socialist, communitarian and directorialist. He firmly believes in the unity of the Easwegian people, built around a federation of its ethnic groups to form one polycultural nation. Whilst chief of state, Emizerri standardised nationalised key industry deemed as natural monopolies, standardised the Ezerryen language, incorporated new domains into the Common Union, and advocated for decolonisation of the arctic and greater international co-operation. He aimed for pragmatic and popular governance and maintained a very high popularity rating during his administration. As chief of state, Emizerri formulated the constitutional philosophy of the Seven Masts, which today includes the principles of popular sovereignty, communitarianism, common ownership, directorialism, federalism, secularism and human emancipation.

Personal life

Emizerri maintains a private personal life where possible. The Co-operative Government lists his birthday as 19 December 2000, which coincides with the anniversary of Easwegian independence.
He was born in Great Britain and has a mixed ethnic Ezaari and Catholic background.
Emizerri has a personal interest in the Buddhist faith as well as Chinese culture, adopting the Chinese name Ai Mingzhe in correspondence with Chinese people and officials.
