Appointment of Swapardeshi as Chief Editor of Eix Easway
Appointment of Swapardeshi as Chief Editor of Eix Easway
Released on the anniversary of Origin Day, 20 October 2026, Directive VI of the Easwegian Council brought back the broadcasting arm of the Easwegian movement, Eix Easway, into activity. During the Common Realm, Eix Easway was responsible for keeping the people up to date on party policies, elections, happenings within the Barents Region, and helping Easway feel more lively.
After the dissolution in June 2025, Easwegian Dawn has handled news. Though this has worked well enough, we, the Easwegian Council, have felt that it has taken some of the liveliness out of the movement. That is why under the direction of Custodian Emizerri it was brought back with popular support.
It was also decided that as a reinvigorated broadcaster, it needs a proper leadership structure. Therefore, the position of Chief Editor was created to head Eix Easway. The Chief Editor is a position appointed through majority vote of the Easwegian Common Assembly. Yesterday, a vote was held after applications were opened and Swapardeshi was appointed by unanimous concensus.
Congratulations Swapardeshi!
As Chief Editor, she will review articles, direct topics, assess impartiality and lead interviews. Under her new leadership, Swapardeshi pledges to co-operate closely with the House of Zerri to get the facts right when assessing past events in conjunction with present realities.
