On the use of elle as a suffix in Ezerryen Easwegian words
The word elle in Ezerryen means 'on' and sometimes 'of.' For example, it was used in the official name of the Common Realm. The 2021 name existed as Elecska vi Ezerrye elle Beeren Eylandt jau Vallinjepemaari. The Realm of Easway on Bear Island and the Pomors Frontier.
This use, in connecting words to each other, is gramatically valid. The use of the word 'on', is also prevalent as a suffix. For example, it changes the possessive quality of nouns. Sei, meaning your becomes seile meaning yours. Si, meaning we becomes sile meaning ours. Note that the ending is shortened formally to le instead of seielle and sielle.
The House of Zerri, judging on the use of Ezerryen in common speech and its prevalence, hereby declares that the official spelling of elle as suffixes will be dropped, instead being spelled as it is often pronounced, as 'le' after a vowel and 'ele' after a consonant.
For example, in the Credo, Barbadoumielle, meaning born of the father, will be shortened to Barbadoumile. The difference in stress makes the flow of sentences much more comfortable and prevents tongue twisters.
This short reform shall become part of a series on Presenting the Common Speak, Qeineziaarchole dova, and part of the wider series on Open Source Patriotism as formulated by Directive VI of the Easwegian Council.
Signed
Emizerri Tannurai
Head of the House of Zerri
