 Defence Training, Acting Chief Justice, Acting Defence Minister - Easway To further the interests of the Easwegian Common Union, and to improve the standing of the National Guard and the foreign relations of Easway, I, the Grand Marshal Emizerri, shall be heading abroad for a period of a week or more in order to conduct defence training.  The Foreign Ministry establishes the Easwegian Association of Northumbria Today, His Eminence Grand Councillor Suqeruli Bai signed a decree into effect which establishes Northumbria, a region of Northeast England, Great Britain, as an Easwegian Association of our diaspora development agency, Easwegian Overseas Communities. The region of Northumbria has a close place in the heart of many Easwegians. When Easwegians were scattered across the continent and beyond following the dissolution of the Easwegian Commonwealth in 1821, many of the Ezaari, including the leadership of the time, fled to allied Great Britain to establish a new life. EASWAY LAYS CLAIM TO BIARMIA Yesterday, the 31 January 2023, the Co-operative Government released the Biarmian Declaration, thereby laying claim to Biarmia, territory of the medieval Easwegian Commonwealth. The incorporation, confirmed unanimously by the United Common Assembly, increases the size of the maritime nation by roughly 614,000 km². Considered largely ceremonial, the declaration confirms Easway's commitment to their mainland national identity, and their diplomatic separation from the Kremlin. The official name of the coastal nation has now become the Common Union of Easway on Biarmia and the Svalbard Isles.  In a unanimous vote between 9 members of the United Common Assembly, Easway's federal parliament, Easway officially laid claim to Biarmia on Monday. EASWAY MOVES TO INCORPORATE THE DISPLACED EASWEGIAN TERRITORIES In an announcement forwarded by the Suqeruli Bai administration to the United Common Assembly, President Swapardeshi delivered a speech dubbed 'Operation Common Order' announcing plans to hold an Assembly vote on whether to incorporate the Displaced Territories, historical Easwegian lands which constitute most of what is internationally recognised as northern Russia and a small strip of Northeastern Norway. It is announced that this shall rename the Common Union officially from Bear Island and the Pomors Frontier to the Common Union of Easway on Biarmia and the Svalbard Isles.  Appointment of the 5th Grand Paladin of the Common Security Force At the behest of Grand Councillor Suqeruli Bai, the honourable federal director Don Cho shall, from this date henceforth, be appointed as the head of the Common Security Force, Easway's intelligence service. Through this appointment, Don Cho shall now head the external and internal state security defence of the Common Union, as per the rules of the constitution and commitment to the Easwegian people.  Former Grand Paladin Gaia Grìbhinneach stands in full support of this decision, and they shall continue to serve in their duties as minister of home affairs and Alderman of Bear Island. I thank Gaia for their service over the past two years as Grand Paladin. Their exemplary service in defending Easway against the threats of an ever hostile world, keeping Easwegians secure for them and future generations shall not be forgotten.   The Foreign Ministry establishes the Easwegian Association of Gökçeada  Authored by Grand Councillor Suqeruli Bai, Başkuruli Bey Today, the Co-operative Government of Easway establishes the Easwegian Association of  Gökçeada   to  represent as the central ancestral hub Easwegians within Easwegian Turkey. The island within the west of Turkey, known as Qaiversou in Ezerryen, was a place of trade and settlement within the far-western reach of the Easwegian Continuum in the early first millenium. These Easwegian clans made allegiances with the then Roman Empire, and those who stayed integrated with the neighbouring Greeks, Bulgarians and Turks. Today, there exists a significant diaspora here.
